In today’s article, I’m going to answer a question you’ve probably never asked: who is Farrukh? (And hopefully explain why you should care who Farrukh is.)

Farrukh – full name Farrukh Younus – is one of the most prolific accounts on X. At the time of writing his eponymous account (whose handle is ‘implausibleblog’) has 115,600 followers and has posted over 273,000 times. He describes himself as a “Content Creator”, “Photo Video and Drone Pilot” and “Entrepreneur and Tech Geek”:

Even if X users don’t explicitly recognise Farrukh’s name, anyone using the app is bound to have seen a clip circulated by him, or be familiar with his handle and the photograph of him looking into the horizon.
