Readers will know I regularly write about The New Economy Organisers Network (NEON), whose most famous funder is George Soros (via his Open Society Foundations).
NEON “offers hand-on support and training for campaigners, organisers, communications and operations teams working across social movements”, and has prepared the likes of Zoe Gardner, Gary Stevenson, Faiza Shaheen and Grace Blakeley for media. They are all left-wing activists who push left-wing talking points (e.g. wealth taxes) at every opportunity.
And that’s not all. Last week NEON held a media training session for the Welsh Refugee Council, which was awarded £4,819,990 in taxpayer funding between 2020-24. That’s in addition to the £41,588,000 in taxpayer funding awarded to the British Refugee Council from 2021-25 (not forgetting all the other taxpayer-funded open border charities).
