Hackney Council announces its “first ever Migrant Champion”

“She’ll be a voice for migrant communities... ensuring their needs are heard”

With a record 230 people (mostly men) crossing the Channel in one small boat earlier this month; water supplies running short; and housing ever-more scarce, you’d think politicians might want to halt new arrivals in the UK and reduce pressure on our infrastructure (never mind preserve our civilisation).

If anything, the opposite is happening, particularly in boroughs taken over by Greens, which are only too happy to encourage the world to move here. Case in point, the newly Green-led Hackney Council has announced its first ever Migrant Champion to “ensure migrant needs are represented.”
